✅ Good News - You Can Stay With Us!
We can still be your child’s provider. Just switch your insurance to CareSource, MHS, or United Healthcare Community care plan.
📋 Steps to switch:
CALL THE STATE: Call 1-800-457-4584 (Hoosier Healthwise) 1-866-963-7383 (Hoosier Care Connect) or log into your FSSA portal.
PICK YOUR DOCTOR: Request Dr. Christopher Tallo, Brittany Felten NP, Amy Hancher NP, or Mikala Schmidt NP (open panels).
SAY 'JUST CAUSE': If they say it’s not time to switch, tell them you have "Just Cause" because your child’s doctor was removed from the Anthem network.
DO THIS QUICKLY: It can take 4-6 weeks. If they tell you that Dr. Tallo and Kids Healthcare are still in network with Anthem right now - you might have to call them back after July 1.
CALL OUR OFFICE: When you’ve decided on a plan and have arranged the switch, please call us or send a quick text so we know when to expect that change for your kids.
DON’T WORRY: After July 1 you will have a grace period with our office to make sure the switch goes smoothly.
